Batteries & Accessories FAQ

  • What batteries do I need for my hearing aid?

Finding the batteries you need for your hearing aid is easy, as there are standardized numbers and colors for each. If you’re not sure which battery you need, call us. Codes are 675 (blue), 13 (orange), 312 (brown) and 10 (yellow).

  • How long will the battery last?

Most hearing aid batteries last around five to seven days, but it all depends on how much you use your hearing aids. They use up far more power than other battery-powered items, so they use batteries more rapidly.

  • How can I avoid running out of batteries?

Keeping eight to ten batteries on hand will ensure you have a month’s supply in case you don’t get your new batteries when you need them. Reorder batteries when you only have four left.

  • Where should I store my hearing aid batteries?

We suggest keeping your hearing aid batteries wherever you put your hearing aid at night. That way, they will be exactly where you need them when you wake up. Room temperature is ideal for batteries.

  • Can you help me purchase batteries?

Of course! Just call us or ask during your visit, and we can help you find the batteries you need.

  • Are there any hearing aid accessories I can consider?

We can help you with cell phone accessories, as well as custom ear molds for listening devices, sleep plugs, musician plugs (ER-9, 15, 25), and musician monitors.

Our hearing care professionals are happy to help whenever you need to purchase batteries!
